Project Management Intern

Summary

The Project Management Intern will work closely with the Assistant to the Vice President and the Program Director on the planning, monitoring and implementation of AIED projects.



Job Location: San Francisco, CA



Responsibilities

• Project Planning: May assist in requirements gathering and creating project planning documentation such as: Project Management Plan, Project Estimation, Project Schedule, Project Staffing Management Plan.

• Project Monitoring: May assist in maintaining communication with the appropriate agencies, ensure that project progresses as planned and manage issues, utilizing project documentation and processes such as: Tracking and updating Project Schedule; Issue Management; and Postimplementation Review.

• Resource Planning: Develop an understanding of current and future work to ensure that the appropriate staffing needs are communicated to the management.

• Process Improvement: May assist in the support for organizational process improvement initiatives to include creating, updating and socializing standards, processes, procedures, templates and guidelines as needed.



Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in education, nonprofit administration, public administration, management, communication or related field.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

• Refined and well-organized multi-tasking skills, detail-oriented.

• Team player, outgoing, responsive, punctual, and responsible.

• Must have a 3.0+ overall GPA (required)
