AIED VP Chuck Yang Visits Bishop George Ahr High School

Edison, NJ. - AIED Council Vice President Chuck Yang visited Bishop George Ahr High School in Edison, New Jersey for the second time on November 27th. Mr. Yang met with the representative of the host family for the CESILE program Mrs. Stephanie Lett and School Teacher Mr. Lei Liang.

Bishop George Ahr High School is a co-educational college preparatory school of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen, NJ. The School provides an atmosphere in which students are encouraged to achieve, through the interaction of a caring community, spiritual, academic, social, and athletic excellence, as well as growth in self-esteem, social and moral responsibility, and values needed to face the challenges in life.

Mr. Yang went through the logistics of the CESILE program with Mrs. Lett and answered her questions about the program. Through the conversation, Mr. Yang obtained a better knowledge of the Lett family. The Lett family has been living in Plainfield, NJ for about 30 years. Mr. and Mrs. Lett have a daughter, who is currently in the 11th grade in Bishop George Ahr High School. The family members can speak Mandarin Chinese, as they had lived in Hong Kong, China for 3 years.
